Can't Open the Page...?

I often can't log in to this forum. It's been happening a lot lately.

Anyone any idea what's going on?

What happens when you try? Error message? Blank screen? infinite page loading?

Blank screen with standard message "Safari Can't open page blah blah blah..."

I got that too, several times, but thought it was my PC playing up.

Yes I've noticed it has been happening to a lot of people. Lots of incorrect password errors in the error log the last week. I'm sure that not everyone's memory is playing up at the same time so I suspect a software glitch. I might try resetting the site's cookie and see if that straightens it out.

Oh, interesting thing is that it never happens to me. I'm not sure if this is because I have an admin account, or because I use Firefox, or if I'm just lucky.

By the way, do you guys ever clear your cache and cookies or are there fifty years worth of them stacked up in your browser?

Ok, I've reset the cookie so we'll see if that makes any difference. It will knacker anyone who was using a permanent log in though so you will have to log in again.

guilty as charged... Never cleared my cache... There maybe 55 years worth....

Just remembered a joke...

Two Muslim guys after a funeral sitting next to a crying man who has lost his father. To comfort him, one of the guys says: it is ok man, don't cry... Even Mohammad rasuloAllah has died... The crying guy increased the tone of his crying and said: Really? The prophet too has died? When?

The first guy said, oh you didn't know? He died about 50 years ago.... The third man, feeling that the 50 years is not accurate but he did not know exactly when, so he says: 50 years? No.. Not 50 years ago...It's more than that man.... It's about 55 years ago!

I find that happens to me often too. I thought that the server was crowded or something. That happens to me at home and work. Home=Firefox, work=IE. Both are auto log ins.

I chose to get circumcised at 17, don't tell me I never believed.

I think the joke should end with the bolded part, the rest seemed a bit silly to me.
