It's when ''literally'' one week you are loudly telling everyone about the joys of Islam, how correct it is and how we should be practising it (that's right, doing dawah), then the following week you are joining youtube channels like ''Islam will pay 4 every crime committed against civilization''.
Many of us here gave dawa'h when we were Muslim. It's called being indoctrinated.
What Kim did is no different than what many of us ex-Muslims have done. When most of us left, we encountered a lot of pissed off Muslims. Only difference is that Kim was more well known than the average Murtad.
Also the fact that she left her youtube channel open for completely un-moderated comments so that it would descend into absolute filth...is that not a disrespect in itself? Kim actually invited it: she actively gave everyone permission to comment (in her video), she allowed them to by not putting any restrictions on it, and then despite people who genuinely cared about her, giving her advice to moderate the comments, she chose to leave those comments there all day.. for the world to see. Why do you think she did that? To show the true colours of Muslims? Are the true colours of Muslims shown by a couple of disgusting comments being made by a person who has chosen a Muslim sounding account name?
Maybe she doesn't believe in censorship--ever think of that Jack?
I have a youtube channel--youtube.com/rationalpeace
Go there, you'll find that I too don't censor any comments. Weather Muslims leave nasty comments or not, is up to them. Don't start saying we are inviting hateful comments by not censoring them. We invite all comments.
Furthermore, when you've spent your whole short life as a Muslim pushing yourself into the spotlight and then done such a bizarre/quick about face in your beliefs, then wouldn't you expect a few angry people and therefore adjust your behaviour online accordingly so that it does not create so many arguments?
In other words bend over backwards for twats just because they get their feelings hurt? The answer is no.
The role she is playing is ''I just want to leave Islam quietly and I don't want to run it down but people aren't letting me do that"... but everywhere you look the evidence is suggesting otherwise. Even joining this site and registering with the name "Kimdonesia!! Did it ever occur to her that she might just choose a different name, go anon, and maybe learn something and really grow from this experience instead of using it as just another opportunity for more people to know who she is?
People can use any name they want to go by here. I support that she went with her actual name that everyone knew her by. It shows me, that she's not trying to fake anything.
