  • Do you still have anything against pork?
     OP - November 24, 2009, 11:37 PM

Since leaving the faith do you still have any stigma against eating pork on a personal and habitual level?

I don't. I eat up that swine like it ain't a thang but a chicken wing. Bacon strips, baby back ribs, pork sausages.. you name it. For a while after leaving I didn't.. fearing the sky would fall if I did. Then after my girlfriend moved in with me she poked fun at me to try it and I did and loved it. It got to a point where I'd eat more swine related products than her kuffar ass! (a nice ass it was)

But anyways, any of you murtads still have any deep-seated issues with Allah's most hated little critter still?  piggy

I ate pork, drank, took drugs whilst I was still a believer.

Now I'm atheist. I have moved in with my parents temporarily since I went back to studies so the pork count is low...

    I miss it frankly  Cry

Luckily there is the chinese bu chip chop sausages only cover the feeling soo far. I want proper bangers and mash with peas and carrots!

At the time I was almost converting to Islam - and never did - I stopped eating pork. But, to be honest, I never liked it a lot. I only like it the way the Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisines use it.

Do you mean you`d eat more pork than she would or more of pork than her ass? grin12
And I can`t do the pork thing yet. I will eventually, though. I`m still enjoying the anticipation of doing something so haram and also trying to get over the grossness.

I love pork! Took me a while to try it though, didn't like it much at first but over time I've gotten into it. Love sausages and pepperoni the the most.

I have not yet, I still have the 'Islam Effect' on me as my apostasy is relatively recent. But tbh I wouldn't care much, it is just one less meat to be eaten, not big difference.

    It's called Gyudon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyudon

It's not necessarily made of pork, but usually since it's cheaper there.

What would a thanksgiving be like without a ham on the side of the turkey?  Huh?

And christmas dinner, it would be hell without our holiday pigout Cry

I'd rather risk eternal hellfire that doesn't exist than go through hell without a holiday piggy piggy mysmilie_977

It is not the way you live your life that is important, it is how well you enjoy it that matters.

    interesting...

we don't eat pig here in Christmas. Well, we don't celebrate thanksgiving either. Although I'd accept a delicious pumpkin pie.

    I can't stand Xmas decorations...
