Do you understand what we were debating about? We were debating ETHICS and Peter Singer is an expert on ethics
No, you were claiming that the embryo is able to feel pain at 24 weeks, hence all abortions past 10-15 weeks should be banned. And for that you presented that book as scientific evidence of the claim that the embryo is 24 weeks old. This is what was asked:
Can you offer scientific evidence that a fetus at 12 weeks is a feeling entity? Please provide from a neutral, purely scientific source, and not an anti-abortion resource.
And this is what you said:
I have a book here let me quote:
<snip> - Practical ethics By Peter Singer (p 142) (Edition: 2, revised Published by Cambridge University Press, 1993 - ISBN 052143971X, 9780521439718)
Were you too stupid to know that this wasn't a neutral, 3rd party scientific source or were you just trying to mislead us?
And I
am withholding judgement until there's more evidence. But even if I'm a theist it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You can personally believe in fairies and unicorns and still be accepting of the scientific method, unless you say that fairies are a scientific theory and should be taught in science books, which is not what I'm saying.
