I was coming home form the pharmacy, two days ago when I got into my garden I noticed a white bird there in the corner and a cat near it, so I picked up a stone and hit the cat with it so I did not kill the bird, so I quickly went into my house put some medical gloves on (which I have for over-clocking and touching components, and sometimes masturbating with) so I put them on went to the bird (it was a mid, sized white bird I don't know what it is) I slowly picked it up and it, and checked it could not find anything wrong with it, so I put it on the wall I tried to make it fly and it would not, so I decided to take it into my cellar as it was freezing outside I have it some bread and water, and left it there I've been checking up on it, but it is still not flying so, so I called up RSPCA and they were asking me to bring it to them, I told them that was not possible and they were just being reluctant, until I got pissed off and gave them a bollocking, so they told me someone should come today, but no one has come, I don't know what to do with it I am pretty sure it will die tonight, I had taken a hair-dryer down into the cellar and left that on all-night as it was cold down there,
I don't think it will make it today, it will die - so I am thinking of mixing some coke into the bread and giving it that just to boost it up - but I don't know about bird anatomy and it might end up dying, if I can't find help my tomorrow, I am going to mercy kill it! it looks unlikely it will recover without medical attention

Okay, so assuming any part of that story is true, cats kill birds, that's what they do, so you shoulda just left the cat to its business, and now you got the bird, stop wasting time and break its neck-- fuckin thing's been suffering for two days, time to end it.
cats are the same as wolves are to dogs, wildcats such as the large lynx were interbred over successive generations to successfully domesticate them and make their features more likeable to man
Not quite. Although both are domesticated, cats are considerably less domesticated than dogs. The wild cat,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_cat, is a hell of a lot closer to the domesticated cat than the wolf is to most dogs. Certain breeds of dogs are closer to wolves, like the Siberian Husky (which is a very old breed), but many more breeds are further away, and there is a lot less breed variation in cats, especially in terms of size and functionality.
