    why not?

Because we live by two different laws. Jesus christ, regardless of how much you wanna say a cat is domesticated and there for we should interfere with it's nature to kill, it's still is an animal with brutal instincts. To suppress it, or interfere with it, is a wrong.

You hit the cat with a stone?! Why on earth didn't you just run at it to scare it off?  Huh? wacko

I didn't want to fall and break my ass like I did the other-day when I slipped off the ice, and went flying under a parked car, it was icy like mad

By the way I called up the RSPCA once more and they told me to take down to my local vet, anyway I did, and the vet said it's necks broken and she put it down she said it was suffering, in all honesty I think she just could not be asked with it I mean I am pretty sure if its next was broken it must surely have died?

did the vet charge you?  dont see how a broken neck would kill you, its just a set of ligament I guess - however I dont get why it didnt fly away, you dont need a neck to do that!

Tut don't you think you interfered with nature?

I did think about that at first, but then my thoughts when to when I was a kid and I kept some pigeons in Pakistan and one night a cat had fucked them up, but TBH I just thought I'll just save it and I was hoping it would get better I would raise it and then I would let if fly-off

If it's white, it sounds like a non-indigenous pet, can you take a pic of it? I wouldn't release it, it'll die if it is a pet.

It was a Fulmar, I asked the vet, she said they are pretty common

It might have been sick, but no the vet did not charge me, I told her RSPCA told me to take it to my vet, she was not too bothered, she just took it and told me it will be "put to sleep"

Because its none of our business what happens in the wild. If it's a problem caused by man, then yeah sure we can interfere to fix the problem. If not, then let mother nature take care of herself.

Yeah, I agree with Tommy. Should a let the cat finish the little bugger off. Let nature do it's work. Dawkins wills it!

Why not - for all we know Tuts ulterior motive might have been he wanted to have it himself -  pidgeons are known as a delicacy in curries, in fact he's probably eating it with chappattis as we speak..

A broken neck might not physically prevent the bird from flying (although the neck influences the shoulders that help move the wings) but surely would destroy his will. Like you could probably run to the corner store with a broken neck and your head dangling down, but you'd probably decide to sit it out. The bird could have been put in a neck brace after some surgery and then after months of physical therapy it might be able to fly again. But since there was no one around to fork over the hundreds of pounds in expenses he was likely tossed in the trash. They probably didn't even waste the needle to put him to sleep.

I know - just pulling your leg. Like I said before, I dont have a problem with this type of interfering with nature.  We do it, and have done it, since the beginning of time.

You masturbate with medical gloves? you hate yourself that much? did the doctor tell you not to touch it? what's up?

"Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.' So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, 'Tell the Apostle the truth.'"

Well for one it makes you get used to having sex with a condom and two it actually feels nice with lube on your gloves I mean it almost actually feels like the real thing, what is better is, just sitting on your hand for about 1 hour so it goes numb then quickly putting the gloves on lubing up and having a wank, it feels nice you should try it out!

It feels like its in a vagina, because if you can feel your hand then subconsciously you know its in your hand, but if your hand is numb and you close your eyes and do the glove trick it is like sex, just try it.

This is a song about having to put down a dead bird:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcOXrYXj69I

One of my fave soundgarden songs ever. Had to mention it since I was listening to that album right now.

    Quote
Dazed out in a garden bed
With a broken neck lays my broken gift
    Just like suicide

    And my last ditch
    Was my last brick
    Lent to finish her
    Finish her
