Kafirist, you make me laugh. Turks say something; Are you "abazan". Abazan means so much horny. Cheesy

So, what do you believe in?

we're mostly a mixture of deists (believe universe is God), agnostics (nobody really knows), and atheists (dont believe in supernatural)

Haha, king of all the abazans Cheesy

Why don't you believe in Allah, or why don't you have a religion? (Don't understand me wrong. I do not say believe sth.) I can not understand it. How a person lives without having a religion? Do you think earth created itself? Is it possible? Everything came from just nothing?

we're mostly a mixture of deists (believe universe is God), agnostics (nobody really knows), and atheists (dont believe in supernatural)

Deists are acceptable, but I can not understand the others.

*sigh* I hate to keep repeating myself, but Agnostics and Atheists are one and the same....

Do you as an Agnostic believe in any form of supernatural? No? Then that's my point. An Atheist can't say that he/she knows for a fact that god does not absolutely exist--we can't really know.

     Everything came from just nothing?

That's the thing, nothing comes from nothing, if you believe that the Earth was created then who created that creator?

As logical, this is inextricable. (I'm not sure that "inextricable" means the right word) But Quran says Allah isn't created and borned. My mind doesn't want to believe it but my all family is Muslim and they say I should be a Muslim. I'm just 16 yet. I'm waiting for 18 to make the best choise.

This is the last post guys. I have to sleep now. There are 2 exams that I'm gonna enter tomorrow. lipsrsealed

I would say its unlikely and I doubt it.  I actually believe anything is possible until we have evidence to prove otherwise

Then it does not follow, as I did not answer no to your question.  tbh I think you misunderstand the world agnostic, I would put you in the atheist category if you answer to that question is no.  i.e. you believe there is only a scientific cause.  Sorry, but shock horror...you're an atheist in my book  Tongue

A bit of a pedantic correction:
Deists believe something we could call "God" created the universe, then left it alone to function on its own without any intervention by it/him/her/them.

A Pantheist believes that "God" is the universe (existence, nature, etc.) itself. (This would be the God of Spinoza, Einstein and some Sufis, Hindus and various others. Pantheism is called "sexed-up atheism" by Dawkins).

Panentheism is somewhat of a hybrid of both Deism and Pantheism.

a worthy correction, I may have oversimplified it for BigBoss. So whats the difference between panentheism & pantheism?

Wow - Sufi pantheists, how did they end up there from "La ilaha illallahu Muhammadur rasulullah"

I mean, that is some journey they made, and it is such Shirk - could they even be considered Sufi with all the connections to Islam that suggests, as mystical as they are?

Don't join a religion because your family says you should do. Your faith is your choice.

I don't know about Tailor specifically, but a lot of Sufis, and mystics of various backgrounds tend to hold pantheistic views about the universe. And yes, according to Islam's teachings, it is shirk, which is why many (most, I'd say) conventional Muslims consider Sufis to be apostates or at least, heretics.

The difference, as I understand it, between pantheism and panentheism, is that pantheism requires no "worship" as there's no external diety to please/appease/pray to, while panentheism may require such worship, since panentheism states that an entity, let's call it "God" for the sake of simplification, is itself the universe but is also "beyond" the universe, therefore, in that way, panentheism is similar to theism and deism. Pantheism essentially says the universe(s) and everything in it is the totality of itself which some may call "God".

"Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused."

And I want to add that, I love SMF. This forum is awesome! Congratulations to the webmaster. Smiley

Thanks for the compliment. It wasn't that hard to set up. It's just one of my themes with some custom banners and some Tiny Portal blocks.

And yeah, SMF is awesome.  Afro

Anyway welcome to the forum. If you aren't comfortable hanging around that's up to you. If you just want to hang around for the chat and not discuss religion that's fine too. Whatever you like.  Smiley
