Im posting in here becuase im not sure whre this post fits.
I met some guys outside the pub tongiht , arsenal fans , and we got joking and chatting . they are from north london and after the football chat the conversation turned on the atheist stuff, they were geniunely surprised when I mentioned this site.
Given that the chat was over a couple of beers Im guessing that they are not practising muslims but so seemed gobsmacked that not only should there be someone who should speak out about apostasy but that they should have a website proclaiming the fact was even more bewildering to them., and even more so that they were being informed of it by a non-muslim . These guys seemed far removed from Islam in the true sense of the word , although I suspect they identified with it as much as I identify with catholic , ie tribal reasons.
I told them to google Ex muslime or CEMB , so if they do log in give them a big welcome , but please dont forget to point out that they support a shite team

According to the polls only 1.6 % of Americans are athiests. So what gives you the right to call the other 80% morons?'

Alot of Turkish in north London, Finsbury Park mosque is just down the road from there, Abu Hamza's old place.

LOL Why would they be gobsmacked if they're having a pint? Did you remind them that the booze is haram?

Arsenal is probably the most popular team in London amongst ethnic minorities.

Osama Bin Laden even reportedly used to go to watch Arsenal when he was living in London/
