They just redirected a NYC to Kentucky flight to land in Philly for security reasons. The local media's been covering this for the last hour or two. Well, turns out some dumb bitch freaked out when an Orthodox Jew started praying with a tefillin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tefillin), also known as a "phylactery". Of course the cop giving the press conference called it an "olfactory" :d'oh:

God, this reminds me of the shit after 9/11 when two Jews got pulled off a plane after some idiot heard them speaking Hebrew, or the train that got stopped when some crazy fucker started screaming and pointing at the "terrorist" on the train-- a Sikh. These idiots can't even be irrationally prejudiced AGAINST THE RIGHT FUCKIN RELIGION/ETHNICITY!

New rule-- IQ and general knowledge testing for all airline passengers and flight attendants (apparently it was a flight attendant's fault this time) prior to being allowed to board any flight. An anchor for the local news said "Well you can hardly blame the person for bringing up the concern". Really? I can't blame someone for being hysterical and ignorant? Wanna bet?

The image in the wiki-link is scary and resembeles a bomb! They should not allow any one board the plain with that thing. What if a terrorist smugles a bomb inside one of these?

But idiots have equal rights to fly if they want to. Who are you to say who should and shouldnt be allowed that right?

Also, IQ tests are a very inacurate measure of intelligence and do nothing more than test how good or bad you are at IQ tests.

We keep hearing about how Jack Straw or the French government have mentioned the veil and our doing so puts us in the same boat as them. How so? I want a ban on the burka, neqab and child veiling.

Indeed. Americans would be stranded. My parents would not be allowed to fly to India.

I on the other hand would get to go everywhere

My intelligence is just above average, I passed all of my studies up to degree level with a low B / high C average.

If you get higher good for you. If you dont get C's on your GCSEs, lol, youre stupid.

The point about IQ tests not being valid was taught to us by a neuroscience lecturer who has spent many years working is Neurology wards and has found many people who score low or high on IQ tests, but do not display a comparable level of intelligence in other tests (either they are a lot better at other things, or worse).

IQ tests are an idiots means of assessing human intellect. Americans take them too seriously. In the UK, we do them for fun and laugh about everyone being a genius by scoring over 120.
