Well I don't wanna mislead you, so I should prolly point out that Chase & Status live are very different from those couple of tracks I posted here. They've always had a pretty diverse sound anyway, not all of it drum & bass, but some might say they have watered down to appeal to the mainstream cheesefest kids. You'll be hearing rock elements, probably guest vocals, almost definitely a rowdy MC (which might annoy you), and you'll probably be hearing dubstep too. It's still a good night out, but don't expect a classy, sexy, trance-out, club-like experience. More of a jump up and get stupid with the kids rock concert experience.
I actually decided not to go. It's too expensive, and as you said, overall isn't going to be the experience I'm looking for. There are only a few artists performing I want to see, and even they tend to play more cheesy, less trance tracks when they perform in bigger festivals.
