    Cubic's a damn fine record but Flow Coma is by far their crowning achievement. Really manages to skirt that divide between acid (house) and techno.

    I find when listening to Flying Lotus' music, it's a bit more hit and miss than the other artists I listen to. That being said, this is a definite hit with me.

    Love how Deep House is becoming a new trend. Can't stand most of it personally (unless we're talking about Strictly Rhythm type stuff) but I would rather that people are compelled to gravitate towards reputable dance music.

    Yeah, for sure.

    It's not a house crowd; it's a regular party and they liked the idea of a house event night with a guest DJ. Definitely gonna have a plan (A and B), but I'm trying to find tracks that I think the crowd would enjoy. I'm only gonna play for myself insofar as to ensure I'm gonna have a lot of fun spinning.     Another quick tip: don't over run tracks. Go for about 3-4 mins max for each tune. Keep it moving with fresh sounds. Some amateurs let tunes run for longer and their set just ends up sounding flat and stale.
