Ugh! What a piece of crap. As a Jane Austen fan, I vigorously protest Tongue Check out the BBC 1995 series, it's much better.

I watched Great Expectation (1995), Captain Corelli's Mandolin and Pride and Prejudice (2005) without reading the books or knowing anything about them... I loved all three movies and find it unfair that people would judge these movies because they did not match their precious little books!

Keira Knightly, in Pride and Prejudice, is as close as possible to what I would consider the perfect girl to marry! Such beauty and such strong personality... if only such a girl exists!

Collateral is a good movie not the best but Cruise plays the sociopathic hitman well.

It's a visually spectacular movie. I'm well aware the story is cheesy and unoriginal. But the visual achievment of this movie is above all else. It is fantasy and escapism at it's finest.

No I don't much care for the pantheistic, environmentalist message in it. Its a nice method to create an epic David and Goliath fight as far as I'm concerned. It's final battle sequence is one of the finest ever. And it might be filled with cliches from countless other movies, but I find this movie really takes all those cliched roles and concepts and makes it fucking awesome.

Bottom line: most beautiful and visually spectacular movie made. And that alone puts it in my top 10.

Great choices, didn't particularly like Jerry Maguire, too much of that Cameron Crowe Kool-Aid and Cuba Gooding Jr. is an ass in it. I enjoyed his movies Almost Famous and Vanilla Sky more.

Ha you nerd! Galaxy Quest Smiley Funny parody, spec. of Trekkies. Great acting from Alan Rickman.

Galaxy Quest is one of the funniest films ever.  Its not really anywhere near as good as The Life of Brian, but I've kinda killed that film for myself by watching it too much.
