The Shia Hadith above is simply an order from the prophet, which if disobeyed Paradise is lost. This Hadith says whoever doesn't believe in Ali's right to rulership does not go to Paradise, which is too much I must say.
As for intercession, Muhammed, the prophets AND angels are given the honor of intercession in the hereafter, HOWEVER we CANNOT pray for their intercession.
For example, you can ask your father to pray for you but when he dies, he becomes part of the unseen and asking anyone who is part of the unseen (your father, a prophet, Mary, the Saints or angels) amounts to a supplication, a prayer, albeit a prayer for an intercession and this is, of course, shirk.
As for the infallibility of prophets, I have discussed this in a Shia forum... according to Quran, the prophets ARE fallible --> Ali CANNOT be infallible.
