    They need to win games again consistently to make sure they edge out Manchester City, Liverpool, and Aston Villa for the no.4 spot in the Premier League. The top three is already set. The title race is on between Chelsea and Man United, and Arsenal will (as always) finish 3rd and trophy-less (again).

    Lol, but it would be funny if Manchester City - after wasting so many millions - miss out on a Champions League spot. They have already knocked their sorry asses out of every cup competition they were in and as a result will finish the 34th consecutive season without a winner's medal.  Cheesy



    I wouldn't mind either of Spurs or Aston Villa get fourth spot as long as Liverpool misses out from Europe altogether grin12

    With about 10 games to go - we are in the top 4 (who all get a champions league place) and have some tricky games to come - but so do Man City Liverpool etc... (Next game everton - city play chelsea!)

    We have the quality!

    Citeh's game in hand is a bonus for them. I get the feeling they will get 4th spot and Spurs will have to make do with the UEFA Cup/Europa League/Whateveryouwannacallit

    Isn't this what you guys have been saying for the last 10 seasons? Can't see it happening to be honest - me being an Arsenal fan has nothing to do with my opinion of course. Even if you do get 4th you'll probably still get knocked out in the qualifying rounds by some scandinavian team and never even see the group stages - never mind - theres always next season  grin12

    Nope. They will fail, I think. Of course this is the best they have done in several years so perhaps. But in the end I think that either Liverpool, Manchester City or Aston Villa will grab the last spot.

    This is probably the most offensive topic on CEMB. How can anybody even fathom the possibility of Spurs finishing in the top 4! As soon as Liverpool hit a run of form (they're due), it'll be curtains for Spurs, Citeh et al.

    I'm  definitely rooting for the spurs. Although I think Villa are the favorites.

    BTW in case you were wondering, we're gonna leave the Premier League to Chelsea this time around. We need to focus on winning the Champions League this year.
