    Well, you get the point, amidst the horrors, there is a lot of unintentional comedy.




    Just think how hilarious a Muslim version of the "Life of Brian" would be. Mo and his rag tag band of imbecile thugs. Like a mix between Monty Pythons Crusade and Blackadder, it would be fantastic. Islam is chock full of comedy material.

    Too bad anyone attempting such a thing would probably die.

    Iblis, there was a documentary on Channel 4 a couple of years back and they interviewed an Imam called Sheikh Ibrahim Mogra about apostacy. Anyway, it was put to him that a recent poll of British Muslims found 36% of them supported the death penalty for apostates. The presenter read out the statistics and Shaykh Mogra started fidgeting, the eyes of the world on him, the camera turning, the blood rushed from his face. The presenter asked him, "What do you think about these findings, they are shocking aren't they?"

    Obviously accustomed to thinking on his feet in front of kuffar, he replied,

    "Well, look at the bright side. It could be worse. It could have been 60% or 90%"

    I just wanted to put my arms around him, and I thought exactly that, this guy belongs in a Monty Python film about Islam

    (this is our hero on the left, doing inter-faith love-in with a Christian, who doesn't have a flock of worshippers who think those who leave his flock should be put to death)

    Well, it certainly says 2 things doesn't it?  It says
    A: "The hour" neared - past tense
    B: The moon split/cut/cracked open - past tense

    Of course the explanation for this is that it is a "poetic past tense" - bollocks.

    I haven't got to Sura 54 yet, still only up to about 43, but by the time I get there I will certainly make a video taking the piss out of this one Smiley

    Throughout the Quran he repeats "Maybe it is closer than you think".
    And then this verse says that it approached.

    It's amazing how easy it is for a "prophet" to continue even after he predicts the end of the world and nothing happens.

    I would almost call it divine will that Mo did not know when he was gonna die, he died not collecting the Quran or appointing a clear successor. He thought he would recover and then croaked.

    we need to find a quick & easy programme to do cartoons.  Then COEM could totally own all the apostate stuff on youtube..  and we would start of with Life of Brian (the Musalman version)
