In Al-Islam, the way we slaughter the animals, its painless!

According to the video the halal meat is much more fresh, yet when I go to some stores and see some of the halaal meat, it certainly doesn't look trustworthy.

Watch it on mute akhi. But seriously, I like some nasheeds here and there, but the problem is that so many of them sound exactly the same, the same voice, and don't get me started on those Jihadi nasheeds.

lol.  Halaal is painless because they cut the throat but not the spine?  Have they ever watched a beheading video?  It doesn't look painless.

Another note: every time I see "scientifically prove" in these videos I tune out because I know even without seeing anything that its going to be bullshit.  Just my opinion

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

On a random note, it feels so fucking good now that I can eat haraam food. I feel liberated!

It's not painless, but it is a less painful method than other methods of slaughtering animals in the ancient world. The animal loses consciousness much quicker than if you stab it in the heart.

True.  But the claim that it is less painful than cutting the spinal cord while cutting the throat seems pretty ludicrous. And definitaly  not as painless as a blow directly to the brain.  If they want to claim that it is less painful than the method for killing for 2000 years ago then sure, but if they claim it is the least painful method that is false.

Of course humane is a relative term so it isn't a clear cut line in what is humane and what is not.

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong-- those claims are fundamentally bullshit. Snapping the spine, which is a method that would have been available for smaller animals during Mo's time is a quick, efficient, and relatively painless way to kill an animal, as anyone who's killed a rabbit or chicken on a farm will tell you. But for larger animals, like cows, slitting the throat is the most humane method assuming no access to a captive bolt gun, a firearm or other efficient method for killing the animal or quickly rendering it unconscious. Yeah, you can use a blunt instrument, but even a sledge hammer could potentially take a few blows to do the job on an animal of that size if the blows weren't well-placed and powerful enough.

    fuck you

Doggy style with Kardashian while holding a rack of lamb in your free hand and ripping it off with your teeth = the most manliest thing possible?

Beef. Chicken being a very close second. Never tasted pork, but I'll do it eventually.

Also, I want to point out that mutton is disgusting.

I've noticed that lots of people tend to *really* hate lamb/mutton when they do dislike it. Like it's totally love hate relationship. Something about the strong smell, just like with goat meat.

Anyone here think lamb is just "okay"?

This really depends on the cook.

Best meat in a meal I've had is Swordfish, closely followed by Duck.

No, but I had an excellent duck breast with ricotto cheese and potatoes that was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. The duck was particularly tender.

I love lamb. Slow roasted for hours until it's falling apart.. yum.

I tried rabbit in Belguim cooked in the Femish way. It was very very tender and succulent- very delicious!

Why isn't Hare on the list?

Interestingly, eating hare was forbidden by a pope in the 8th century, because of the promiscuous sexual behaviour of the animal, which they maybe were afraid, would transfer to the people eating its meat.

But no Catholics remember this ruling, it seems. Hare was a traditional Easter and Christmas dish for many Catholic families in the area I grew up.
