    It's funny that charlatan Adnan Oktar aka Harun Yahya aka The Turkish Kent Hovind (both, Oktar and Hovind are also convicted criminals)  claims that evolution would work by natural selection only. Christian creationists usually assume the opposite, that evolution only would be random mutation without a selective process. Obviously, these cretins are too stupid to agree about the same strawmen to manipulate their gullible followers.

    That's often a big problem with a lot of the critiques of Islam. Many of them are far-right neocon warmonger types. They lace their legitimate criticism of Islam with their own right-wing ideology, which is why you see them equating their criticism of Islam with their support of the Iraq war. Its kind of fucks it up when it comes to trying to pass good articles to Muslims since so many of the good shit so tied to the far right that it gives the musulmans an easy "out" by simple dismissing them as hate-mongers and racists.

    Yeah, I disliked it for the same reasons you & Iblis do.  Like Iblis says, its a shame that they take this line, otherwise it would be the perfect article.

    Thats why I think we should do a vid on it, with the sharp edges removed. 

    I think your idea is a great one btw, retranslate it, soften it!  Stuff like this has to be available in Arabic, for the muslim speaking world.

    I have already started. I emailed him to get his permission and told him that I would modify it to make it more "accessible" to Arabs. He agreed.

    I am not sure if I will finish it soon, but I hope so. I will probably procrastinate the hell out of it until I get done with it, but hopefully I manage to do it quick.

    I have a very liberal Muslimah friend who told me she believes in Evolution and Allah because she believes that Evolution is guided by Allah. I told her that Evolution is absolutely blind; she returned with argument that Genetic mutations are caused by Allah and Natural selection just takes it from there.

    In other words, she was arguing that, Allah being all knowing, knows exactly what sort of genetic mutation would lead to what sort of evolution.
