    Plenty of people who disagree with me here that I can deal with because they don't act like trolls and they are respectful, polite and sane. Can't say the same about you and Ansar. I cut you some slack because you're 15, and I acted similar to you at that age too-- Ansar doesn't have that excuse.

    I'm not gonna call you names or anything like that anymore, not only because I think I should cut you some slack due to your age, but I think that's actually what you want and why you're here-- to bait people into insulting you so you can cry foul here and at FFI. That's okay, though, because you got plenty of shit I've said in the past to you and others which you can repeatedly drag up in your replies to me, as you have a tendency to do to me and others you don't like here because, well, you're obsessive and trolling for a negative reaction.

    Now I suggest you go and enjoy your youth. Go do teenage stuff. There will be plenty of time to be an angry internet crank when you're older. It's a nice day here, I'm gonna head out myself in a minute.

    And for chrissakes, if you MUST obsess over Islam and troll internet discussion forums, go do it at a pro-Muslim site, doing it at an ex-Muslim site is kinda pointless.

    Point of clarification-- I've been arrested a few times, mostly for union-related activity/civil disobedience and been in jail for no more than 32 hours. This is not what we call "going to prison" in the states.

    Your posts speak for themself Rashna. Your obssessed. The zoro missionary bit was a joke. I knew you would start writing essays as a response, you get agitated over minor things. It's not your criticism that is off per se but how often you reiterate the same points. You're patronising as well. I think people find your personality a bit 'off'.

    Also you called Iblis stupid for believing Islam until he was in his twenties, a cheap shot i might add, just because you couldn't handle your religion being mocked a bit and you have the audacity to say we hate it when non-muslims criticise Islam, I think it is you who can't take you religion being mocked or criticised.

    I can very well handle my religion being mocked, & more than a bit. But I'm certainly annoyed if every thread & post I make is hijacked with images of vultures, as I don't post images of bearded men on every post.

    I know Muslims will find it difficult to criticize my religion over really ugly issues, coz there're so few or none compared to Islam, all they can come up with are vulture images.

    I thank them for proving how nice my religion is, I can criticize Islam over so many ugly qualities, all they can come up with are vulture images.

    Rashna, the problem is that you don't contribute anything to the website other than hit-and-run news stories about what some crazy Muslims do. I mean really, why not join a discussion in the lounge? or post a youtube video? or a song?
    Even if you think you're on a mission to discredit Islam (which is something I wouldn't oppose), at least put more effort into your posts. I would imagine being obsessed with Islam, you must be knowledgeable in the issue. Go use your knowledge in a Muslim forum, you'll have more fun there and I give you my word, if you do that, I will help you out.

    The name of this forum is "council of ex muslims"  and hence I think  that the site should be educating  those  who are unaware of dangers about islam so the forum is more for those who(muslims as well as non muslims) dont know about islam rather than being purely for exmuslims.

    Think this way.If you are a newbie would you come to the forum named council of ex muslims if you wanted to discuss anything other than islam? ITs expected that this council of ex muslims should be telling the world why they left islam and why its bad. People are bound to be interested in knowing about islam from you rather than anything else so the  site is more for those who dont know about islam i.e muslims as well as non muslims rather than being for yourself. That is the case with every anti islamic forum.

    Also its equally important for non muslims to know that islam is bad.This site is just not for ex muslims. Its for the entire world to see so saying that islam should not be criticized here as ex muslims stay here is wrong.

    I have joined this forum many months before Q-Man did Iraqi atheist, & I have contributed in most sub forums, discussed many issues with many, many members.

    However, as my ideas do not agree with the politically correct multi culturalist "All religions are equally bullshit," theme, people sought to literally shoo me out with extremely vicious posts, or worse sexually harassing posts & absurd images. Its happened to other members here who were more than a little against Islam, like Zaephon, or especially people like speaklow who are Christians & dare to claim that Islam is worse.

    Everything I post recently is followed up by images of vultures, which naturally elicit angry responses from me, & it seems like I'm trolling, although I do want to contribute my two cents.

    I think even this particular thread made ex Muslims like Moe Alharbi learn some new absurdity about Mo., which he acknowledged, although the same attempt to hijack this thread was made.

    skynighblaze, it certainly isn't for you to say what the prevailing tenor and definition of this forum should be. I'd say that is down to the moderators, and should also be in keeping with the ethos of the Council of Ex Muslims of Great Britain. And also, through the common consensus of the interactors here. So maybe the moderators can respond to this question about this. I feel certain of one thing though. We don't need coem to be another FFI forum. Otherwise there would be no point in coem existing. Right?

    Also you do have folders like religion and resource center where a lot of topics  are related to islam.I see a hypocrisy here. If all the very interactors here can criticize islam on main page as well as on the site then why cant Rashna do it ? How come we dont see you or others who opposed Rashna for  criticizing islam oppose other members who post about islam like Peruvian,Hassan ,Islame ,Awais, etc etc?

    Just remember, this is the forum of the Council of Ex Muslims of Britain, and it has moderators who are commited to the ideals of the COEM, and that several of these moderators created this forum primarily for ex-Muslims to have a space to interact away from the bear-pit of places like FFI. I know for a fact that mods here joined and created this community because of their repulsion from FFI.

    Its not upto me to decide what the orientation of this forum should be. Does that answer you? Btw asking this question makes no sense because the mods and many members have already indicated that criticism of islam is allowed here and hence when I say that criticism of  islam should be allowed  I am only saying what the mods are saying.If you still have a problem with my opinion then you are also having a problem with whatever your mods allow.Btw I aint giving personal opinions here .     Well done skynightblaze, you put an answer in there, and then followed it up with an anormous amount of babble and which I kind of expected, but congratulations on answering that question, you did well.

    Now. Its not about criticising Islam. Only a dunce or a partisan blinded with something thinks it is. Either way, you either miss the point completely, or you obfuscate deliberately. But, you agreed that its not up to you to define the tenor and orientation of COEM, its for the founders and mods of the forum, and the organisation it is attached to, to do so. And having acknowledged this, and that one thing that this forum does not want to become, is a mirror of FFI. I'm sure you accept that is reasonable, right? Good. Everything else can progress from there.

    Yes, it does.

    Even though I was not on the scene when the split occurred, I know that some of the members were expelled and some quit on their own. If I remember correctly, it occurred on the issue of aliens and crop circles etc. Of course I don't know the full details, but it should be easy to find out as the old forums are still available I think.

    But there is no point in going so far back and digging up dirt.

    Actually it was expected then that another forum by ex-Muslims would be another bulwark against Islam. I have nothing against CEMB, but the lack of Muslims defending Islam on this forum is a bit disappointing for me.
    Islam is a funny religion which is misunderstood by its scholars and correctly understood by ordinary Muslims.
    Faith is keeping your eyes shut when looking at the world, and/or keeping your eyes open only for the beauty of the world.

    Shame on the Ummah.  They're only useful at trolling one liners on youtube, challenge them and you get redirected to an Alim who has no time to speak to you. What a load of crock.
