More messages from mx399 - I have told him he can look here for replies:

    _____________________________

    mx399 says:

Look, I will be honest. I had my doubts in Islam also. I was thinking like you and had a million doubts and questions, and thinking that there is no God. But after being unable to find answers to my questions below, I guess I rather just have an insurance policy (religion) for when I die; just incase there is a God. You know, we all have insurance on our cars, but we have no guarantees we will get into an accident.

So again the main reason I did not opt out of Islam is because the following questions I simply could not answer:

    1) How did an illiterate Muhammad write a holy book entirely in poetry.

    2) Was Muhammad a poet? Did he lie about being illeterate?

    3) Was he a genius to write it in poetry so it can be memorized easily, making it easy to preserve it since it can verbally be passed on from generation to generation? Can we at least give him a round of applause for this brilliance?

    4) How did he claim to protect it through the test of time? How can any human make such a statement and back it up?

    5) It is now 2010, and the Quran has not changed since Muhammad passed it on. How did he claim this preservation 1400 yrs ago?

    6) Why would Muhammad fast 30 days following a lunar calendar and not eat food or water?

    7) Why would he pray 5 times a day following a lunar calendar? No other religion today pray as much as muslims. Why?

Cool The simple things muslims do day to day, washing your privates after bathroom, greeting every other muslim with Asalamualakum (peace and blessings on you), obligate charity, etc. Why did he mandate all of this? Did he have a cleaning phobia?

    9) Why didn't he want any photos of him being taken? Was he ugly? There are thousands of photos and statues of Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, etc. Why did Muhammad insist that no photos be taken of himself.

    10) How did he know about embrylogoy, astronomy, the universe and so on? Was he a scientist as well as poet?

So I had so many doubts in my mind also, but I just could not answer these questions. If you have the answers to all of these, please let me know and help clear things up for me. Fasting for 30 days is too difficult, so I rather be on your side and live an easy life! Let me know.

    Thanks!!

    mx399 says:

    PRESERVATION OF PHARAOHS BODY

Dr. Maurice Bucaille is an eminent French surgeon, scientist, scholar and author of "The Bible, The Quran and Science" which contains the result of his research into the Judeo-Christian Revelation and the Quran. It is a unique contribution in the field of religion and science.

Being an outstanding Scientist, he was selected to treat the mummy of Merneptah (Pharaoh), which he did. During his visit to Saudi Arabia he was shown the verses of the Holy Quran in which Allah says that the dead body of the Pharaoh will be preserved as a "Sign" for posterity.

"So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs , revelations, etc.)." (The Quran, 10:92)

An impartial scientist like Dr. Bucaille, who (being also a Christian) was conversant with the Biblical version of Pharaoh's story as being drowned in pursuit of Prophet Moses. He was pleasantly surprised to learn that unknown to the world till only of late 20th century, the Holy Quran made definite prediction about the preservation of the body of that same Pharaoh of Moses' time. This led Dr. Bucaille to study the Holy Quran thoroughly after learning the Arabic language and accepted Islam as the truth.

The body of Pharaoh is now lying in a Cairo museum as an open miracle of the Holy Quran, for those who pay heed to the signs of Allah.

Source: Partially taken from "The Origin of Man", by Dr. Maurice Bucaille.

    mx399 says:

    (Surah Imraan)
3:7 He it is Who has sent down to you the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental, they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

Dude, you know what your problem is? You have NO ANSWER except to hate the fact that Allah's wrath is severe, so you are claiming this religion cannot be real.

You ignored all my comments because I can prove all my points. My points are views from someone looking on the outside in. A non-muslim. I am making points to how can it be fake if so and so and so... And please do not give me you have heard it all. You did not hear anything from me, which is why you never replied. You turn to your blob of EX MUSLIMS for comfort. Similarly convicts console each other in a cell....

There is no sense to this question at all.  An illiterate person can make things up in their head just as easily as a literate one, especially if they come from a culture with a largely oral tradition of story telling.  Mohammed made stuff up in his head and got a scribe to write them down.  No big deal.

I can't be bothered with the rest, especially when I see the name Maurice Bucaille.   Roll Eyes

Yeah, plus what if he's chosen the wrong God?  Insurance companies don't burn you for eternity for choosing a rival.  Jesus might do.

When I read posts from stupid religious people I am shocked because I realize that this individual could be doing something useful with his time, like forced labour at a silver mine.

Maurace Bucaille was paid by the Arabs to write this book, and despite showering praise on Islam, and here's the crux of it. never converted at the end of it.  That should tell you something.

    His response to an invite:

Re: Re: Re: Re: about your videos
Well I am not interested in your forum. Your supporters are silly. All of them have about zero to twisted knowledge of Islam.

You seem to have a head on your shoulders, but are disoriented, which is why I was communicating with you. But for some reason you cannot respond directly to me, except to send me to your forum. LoL Nice debate...

Tell your supporters to join this forum and let know if one of them can do it and shed their beliefs and reasoning there:
    http://www.islamicboard.com/general/

I will go to your forum if you can talk to me ONE on ONE and answer the questions I have.

There are 6 billion people in the world, and 4 billion of them share the islamic - christian faith (split down the middle).

I hope you at the very least downgraded to Christianity. At least you believe in a God who forgives all sins, which seems more to your liking.

You left islam because you were unable to digest the fact that God can be merciful, as well as have severe punishment.

Anyway, Christians are still a people of the book, so just downgrade to Christianity at least.

If you want to talk ONE on ONE, let me know. I love debates. You have inspired me to create my own youtube site on why islam is in fact REAL. Thanks for that.

    take care

    My response:

    Dear mx399,

Forgive me but I have no motivation for entering into a serious discussion with you as my mind is distracted by a crisis within my family. If you want to discuss these things there are some on the forum who would be happy to discuss them with you. If you don't want to that's fine, but I am not going to respond at the moment.

    Best wishes,

    Hassan.

Maybe this guy's just winding you up, Hassan.

    Bollocks.

Why are Muslims always talking about numbers? Its always a numbers game. Its like some kind of penis inferiority complex, this obsession with size.

Anyway, Hassan, you really seem to have got underneath his skin, your videos are like an insect that has crawled into his skull and is gnawing away at his brain, the guy is obsessed with you, which is great, because he's grinding his teeth at night sweating over the truth you expound - excellent work  Afro
