Either something got changed or I seemed to have removed the "newest posts" and shoutbox display that used to appear on the left. How do I turn them back on?

oh shit, and for some reasons the posts on threads are displayed back wards. First page for most recent. HALP!

I was having the same problem and it was fixed by osmanthus, check this out:-
