This seems kinda new, never seen it before myself.

Anyways, the Muslims spouting that same old bullshit really really pissed me off. How can people be so ignorant and deluded? Don't these musulmans know the game is up? Don't they realize that people are no longer buying their bullshit about islam?

The point is that non Muslims should be put on the back foot and made to feel guilty for not conforming to a practising Muslim's view and 'understanding' of Islam.

Hence the constant barrage of finger-wagging, lecturing propositions that the entire world is guilty of misunderstanding Islam, when plenty of people have sound instincts about it, actually.

Its just a reformulation of the old canard about how everyone has to 'respect' Islam - its a form of dawah - poor misunderstood Islam, victim of anti Islamic misunderstanding and misrepresentation, blah blah blah.

Christ almighty, Miriam Francois-Cyrrah, brainwashed hijabi wearing white convert with a upper middle class accent and double-barrel surname, shilling for that creed. There is no end to the line of peopel who are fooled by this nonsense.

The Iranian lady gave a good reply though.

Meh, I am confident, I think the message is slowly but surely getting through, a few years ago there would have been nothing but cringing and pandering to this white convert superstar.

Oh Christ, Mehdi Hasan is there! Complaining about how the media misreperesents Islam. Ladies and gentlemen, Mehdi Hasan is a journalist who gave a speech to a gathering of shias saying that all kuffars (and he used that exact word) are mindless animals and cattle.

And yeah, you're so misrepesented dude! Unbelievable how brazen they are, isn't it.

Here is the creep in action.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APAPqT3QdFU&feature=player_embedded

    Quote
“The kaffar, the disbelievers, the atheists who remain deaf and stubborn to the teachings of Islam, the rational message of the Quran; they are described in the Quran as, quote, “a people of no intelligence”, Allah describes them as; not of no morality, not as people of no belief – people of “no intelligence” – because they’re incapable of the intellectual effort it requires to shake off those blind prejudices, to shake off those easy assumptions about this world, about the existence of God. In this respect, the Quran describes the atheists as “cattle”, as cattle of those who grow the crops and do not stop and wonder about this world.”

Yeah sure Mehdi! Islam is so misunderstood! You're so opressed! And there's people thinking Islam is a bigoted religion that has utter contempt for non Muslims, thereby fostering a culture of supremacism and hatred of the 'kuffar', how could they misunderstand it like that?

Whoops! You even go on a television programme and whinge and whine about it, but when there's no kuffar around, and you're only speaking to Muslims, you play a different, and very familiar tune, don't ya.

This is another example of Muslims getting away with it because kuffars in the media don't have the tools to take them on. Mehdi Hasan should have had that thrown in his face the moment he gave his speech about Islam being misunderstood.

The trouble for Mehdi Hasan and his ilk, what is so troubling to them, what is so painful and tormenting to them, is precisely that people are beginning to understand Islam perfectly well. When people understand Islam it doesn't look so nice. That is what is giving them sleepless nights.

Why do you post one minute videos of Mehdi Hasan's eloquent, erudite and MODERATE speeches out of context in speeches that unite the Muslim Ummah?
One minute long extracts taken out of context from speeches that are often longer than three quarters of an hour.

What a bunch of stupid apologetics.... ooooh Muslims are misrepresented in the media. eusa_boohoo Please! Maybe they need to stop watching Fox News. Everywhere I look, most journalists and writers bend over backwards to accommodate the delicate widdle feewings of Muslims. Anti-blasphemy laws at the UN, Yale university censoring itself, etc. etc.

Maybe the right-wingers among the western nations hate Muslims, but here's a newsflash, they hate everyone! The right-wing, nationalist, fascist, racist segment of any society has historically hated blacks, hispanics and latinos, the irish, the italians, the native americans, the roma, the jews, immigrants in general, LGBT people. They don't hate Muslims just out of a special hatred for Muslims, it's part of their xenophobia. The liberal-left on the other hand still goes to great lengths to accommodate Muslims, as well as every other "minority". But to keep crying about it like this Mehdi Hasan and the white convert chick, and so many others who go on liberal-left shows to complain about the right-wingers, are only seeking attention, and are starting to really piss off many on the liberal-left side of the spectrum too... cry me an effin' river. Boo hoo.

Its The New Statesman, the home of the Islamic / Tariq Ramadan apologist Left, Ziauddin Sardar is one of their main men.

The previous politics editor was sacked after he wrote articles about how a Jamat-e-Islami activist civil servant was advising the government and foreign office on various jehadi / Islamist organisations. So they brought this dude in. The New Statesman is a joke.

Its always 'taken out of context', isn't it? I swear to god, Muslims must have that phrase inprinted on their minds as much as La ilaha illa Allah wa-Muhammad rasul Allah  Grin

Its the ever ready explanation for everything when the truth gets out or, whoops, the likes of Mehdi Hasan get caught saying awkward things when they think the kuffar aren't listening.

If you think about it, western musulmans are like the goth kid in a suburban white family. They dress up in black and wear spikes and chains and act grim but then bitch and moan about how society hates them and doesn't accept them for who they are.

Thats because all the muslim "brothers" hope to marry them. Trust me, I used to be a classic brown young musulman. When that one white girl convert to islam steps in the room all the "brothers" chests suddenly become puffed and shoulders become broader. Pisses the brown muslimahs off to no end. Grin

But it's pathetic really. They hate whitey, but want so badly to be validated by them.

Yah, totally. The lazy sort. That shit might be cute for like 5 minutes when you're 13, but seriously, grow the heck up already!

I mean, this asshole who's a senior politics editor of a major UK news magazine is telling us that Muslims are discriminated against? BY EVERYONE?? Muslims want to be hated especially, not just hated as one of the many people that ultra-right-wingers have always hated. It's like they're saying, well okay there's a history of racism in Europe and North America, but we're SPECIAL... you have to give us special rights and even if you hate us, you have to hate us in that special way.

ha, in part three the posh white hijabi poster-girl Miriam also chatters about how things are 'taken out of context'  Grin

This must be part of a new shahadah that Muslims are reciting:

La ilaha illa Allah wa-Muhammad rasul Allah, and everything you say about Islam is taken out of context.

I definitely think you are right about many of the Islamists and maybe even just some of the normal Muslims with very passionate self-importance. They want to be hated, because they feel it gives them an importance they otherwise don't have. In their heads, they are Mo's Muslims being persecuted and hated by the pagans of Mecca all over again.

Mehdi Hasan takes the biscuit for me, though. Such hostility towards the kuffar, quoting from the Quran, and then complains about Islam being misunderstood.

But that would defeat the whole purpose of why they converted. They want to be that special white person who sticks up for represents the exotic foreigner musulman. She *needs* to do this shit in a white society, just like a goth kid needs to make teardrop makeup and dye his hair black in a normal high school. Being in an all goth school would defeat the whole purpose of wanting to be "unique".

    Bingo!

To many white people, there is not just a kind of self-loathing, there is an attraction to automatically being able to proclaim yourself as part of an 'oppressed' people (never mind that that is by and large a load of horse shite in the context of Britain) - the romance at being to rage self righteously about it all. And self loathing is included in that too.
