    Who has ever played any?

    PS: I am not talking about computer games.
    I am not talking about kinky sex games either.
    I am talking about that stuff for ubergeeks Grin

    I have played a LARP only once, for a friend's birthday.

    We were 20+ people, each with a fake persona, in a modern setting, pretending to be members of 3 secret societies plotting against each other and trying to solve a fictional murder.
    It was cool Grin

    I used to be involved with a LARP group back in California when I was in high school.  We played 'World of Darkness - Vampire'.  We would all converge on this little Victorian era Gold Rush town in our greasepaint, black capes and fake fangs and whenever there was a conflict situation we would resolve it with 'rock, paper, scissors'.  It was loads of fun!

    I dabbled in D&D a little bit because a friend of mine was really into it.

    You refer to pen-and-paper RPG's like  D&D or AD&D, do you?

    Haven't played it in a long time now, but I played as a student together with friends. It was always a great fun, perhaps I should ask some people for a revival.

    I just started a nice campaign of "Vampire: the Masquerade"

    I don't really like vampire stories, but playing one is kinda nice. I like playing roles that I don't initially like ^_^

    Yes, tabletop/pen-and-paper are the best.
    Cause they can be played often enough and with little effort.
    And you can have dinner and get half drunk while playing lol

    I never had a girlfreind in highschool
    but I had a magic user and a half-orc fighter.
    Haven't played in over 20 years.

    I found a really old Dungeons and Dragons module in my attic that the previous owners must have left. I think it was made in 1973. Could be worth something.

    Played: D&D, Shadowrun; L5R, Star Wars RPG; old and new World of Darkness (True Vampires, not the sparkly Twilight bullshit); Das Schwarze Auge; Dark Heresy; Warhammer RPG; GURPS; Cthulu RPG; Power, Plush and Plunder, aaaand Feng Shui. Oh, and All flesh must be eaten (Zombie Survival RPG)

    And i were on some Larps too... (LARP = Live action Roleplaying)

    How do you go about booking a LARP holiday?

    I really want to go to one, but I'm a really cool nerd, so none of my friends are nerds, and no one will go with me or knows about shit like that because.....well they aren't nerds.

    Anyone wanna help point a nerd in the right direction to fulfilling her LARP fantasies before she dies or has to play the part of an old hag?   Tongue

    The graphics are amazing, but is that the one where the radically changed the combat system so no one liked it?  11, btw, was the most emo storyline. I couldn't get through it.  FF2 and FF3 for me. Back in the day.
