ha, Deepak Chopra was screwing. And yeah, it would be great to see a takedown like this at a 'Quran Contains All Science' conference - but those kinds of things tend to be quite policed and unquestioning, and any response would probably full of shouting and ad hominem and blah blah blah, you know how it goes.

I watched the whole event, Deepak was a dick It was just like the opposition said, he talks a lot of woowoo

Yeah but he's a hippy-dippy type and not really menacing. Any discussion that leads to a repudiation of whatever a Science-is-Islam proponent says emanates from the Quran tends to have a tinge of the manic sinister about it because its a direct challenging of the source book of wizadry and spells. The atmospherics are different. For a start, Muslim prosletysers of Science-is-Islam would rarely if ever open the floor like that.

Well, I don't think Deepak Chopra is like them, but I'll stay away from his scented candles when I'm doing yoga next time in case he's laced them with cyanide or some brain control drug or something

Deepak Chopra is scum. Using the guise of science to mislead vulnerable people for personal gain is pretty fucking despicable. I wish the physicist was a little more aggressive. He could've nailed him to the wall.
