    Here is my video response I promissed Hass. Just joking - I just thought it would be fun to make - and boy it was - I don't get out much these days. I've never uploaded a video to youtube before and am not sure what you're allowed/not allowed to do. I basically downloaded other videos from youtube and then made clips of them and strung them together and I did the same with the music. Will the video get taken down?

    Nice vid, Abu Yunus  Afro I will always love Ali. I met him u know, when he visited Islamia - he played chase with my son, Yaseen, and other kids in the playground.

    Cool video AbuY - shame they've taken the sound down due to copyright violation.  Muhammed Ali was great, and that video shows how hard he was too!

    btw some might not know that the sheikh talking to Richard Dawkins and saying ex-Muslims should be given the death penalty is the Chairman of the "Association of Muslim Schools" an umbrella organisation for Muslim schools in the United Kingdom. His name is Mohamed Mukadam.

    Should the UK allow such a man - who would be happy to see all of us beheaded - oversee Muslims schools in the UK - many of which get government funding?

    I don't think it's my best by a long way - I put a lot more effort and thought into others - and Criss hasn't uploaded it.

    I reckon it's just coz it's about Muslims leaving Islam - a popular subject - and it's not a complicated vid - Youtube viewers have a VERY short attention span!  grin12

    Bloody good vid , Hassan.  Succinct, direct and to the point.  Dix points for that one. Makes me wish I'd been a Muslim, just so I could leave.
    Using the Dahwah Douchebag at the beginning is a master stroke. And the scary hellfire vicar (Immam, Mullah, Whatever) type next gave it a panto feel.  Sort of like - if someone surreally stupid doesn't put you off, try this monster.
    Using Pinks music with the affirmations was a great idea.  She's just got that ballsy, just do it attitude.

    I really wanted to and tried to have a conversation with him and ask him about stuff but Parkinson's disease was already inhibiting his speech so sadly he couldn't say much. but I gave him a hug!  Afro He was a really warm and sweet guy and it showed the way he played with the kids. Back in the 60s/70s he really was my hero and I loved his quick witted and sharp responses to people - it was sad to see him in the state he is now.

    Well he's got 2 strong options. Either get it pulled or (and I think this is the strong option because his febrile vanity will get the better of him) leave it be in the hope that his useless approach to influencing people will gain some currency on this forum. Fat chance!

    Pretty damned good thanks. I'm doing alot more fishing than lurking these days. Not having to work anymore is very liberating.
     I keep having a looksee; Apart from the odd hiccup, this must be one of the most intelligent forums on the Net. It's always interesting.  Since the time I first joined the forum I think everyones gained alot of confidence and because there's such a historical library of theological cut and thrust here, there seems to be less of it aired nowadays.
    The new entries seem much bolder now that there are foundations, I think.

    Yes, I noticed that too.  The apostates appear to be getting younger & more brash - dont know if we can read much into it although I wish we could., as it could be a function of several factors including society, random chance, evolving forum culture or a current apostate phenomenon.

    I think its just part of the process of "bleeding" that Islam suffers once in the west or comes into contact western culture and freedoms.

    Muhammad Ali definitely is a great sportsman but some of his views – especially the ones he used to openly proclaim back in the ’60 and ’70 always troubled me. They just seems so partial, simplistic even racist and chauvinistic. I do understand that he was a man of his time and that he definitely did experience racism of that era however imho one’s true greatness is shown precisely in the ability to overcome such difficulties and in the ability to become a truly universal figure.

    Are you kidding Kenan??? Ali was far from racist and chauvinistic. He was loved by people whether they were men, women, black, white, yellow or purple. And today he is still a hero to many people regardless of race, religion, or age. Everyone knows who he is and everyone (well most people at least) loves him.

    He is truly a universal figure.
