I sure hope that you are right. But imho that is exactly the difference beteewn a truly univerally great man and a great sportsman whose intelectual capacity sometimes betrayed him. If he was truly great he should have known better. And there are many examples. One of my idols - Martin Luther King, Jr. – being one of them.
I agree. I'm no one special, but I followed islam, and still didn't think or say stupid things about kaffirs, homosexuals, or anything else islam wanted me to be nasty about.
To say a thing is to believe it, even a little, to say it with the passion he put behind it each time, is to believe it quite deeply, and that's the measure of a man.
I can of course applaud the progress, but never forget the beginning.
