    Currently the signature length is 300 which is tiny. Can it be increased to around 435? I want to have the following quote in my signature:

    "Nature is what we know. We do not know the gods of religions. And nature is not kind, or merciful, or loving. If God made me — the fabled God of the three qualities of which I spoke: mercy, kindness, love — He also made the fish I catch and eat. And where do His mercy, kindness, and love for that fish come in? No; nature made us — nature did it all — not the gods of the religions."

    Alongwith my youtube channel, but a 4 line quote like that also won't fit in 300 lines  Cry

    No. And on a related point I'm going to set a restriction on the size of custom titles above and below avatars. Some people have been using those as though they were sigs, so they're going to be restricted to a few words.

    Oh, no way lol.

    That's one of the things I dislike about ummah.com, their sigs are massive and full of so much junk.  You spend more time scrolling that reading their stupidity over there.

    I think the way we have it is just right, not too many quotes, efficient post to post scrolling, and less work for my finger.   Tongue

    I cheated as an admin when I set my signature. There's no way I could have fit in so many links in there otherwise. hehe Cheesy

    The forum software could really be a bit more intelligent and ignore the BBC tags in the signature when calculating the maximum length. Wanna propose this feature at SMF, Oz? Wink
