Wow, that was awesome. When will Muslims realize that they worship Mohammed so much? If he had said, "Allah is a sadist," she wouldn't have blinked an eye, but try insulting the beloved prophet and they go out of control.

I so agree.

They criticize Christians for worshipping Jesus, but they do the same thing with Muhammad.

I think Muslims boarder-line worship Muhammad. But it really is madness. They emulate him and love him more than anyone else in the world and their personality is so intertwined with Muhammad. Its kinda sad that they don't realize this.

I suppose they are so sensitive about him since he is pretty much the weak link of the religion. If they agree that Mo did bad stuff, then how could he be of God? And if he is not of God, then how could the Qur'an be?

Freedom of speech - the right for Muslims to say whatever they like about any religion or culture outside Islam, and the right of others to agree with them about Islam, including the reverence and bootlicking for Mohammad, or else.

Funny how religious people are great at logically analysing any belief system but their own.

The reason Muslims deify Mohammed (PB&J) is simple: the validity of Islam hinges on his testimony - the second you start to question his character, or raise issues about his conduct, the very religion itself starts to unravel. For Islam to remain credible among Muslims, it's necessary for them to consider Mohammed (PB&J) the perfect human being. Any doubts about his character will lead to questions about the Quran's authenticity, and that's what they fear most (second to educated women, of course).

You need to read this book.
