    la illah is the first part of the shahada.. no god..
    now this is left to the listener.. either he killed her before she got it all out..
    or the way it was meant.. she lost her faith and only said those two words of the shahada.. which are "no god"

    In my mind, as he stood over her with a raised fist, he suddenly realised the absurdity in what he was doing, hurting another human being for something as useless and petty as 'honour'.

    I guess I'm just projecting myself and my feelings and opinions.
