I've always figured that there are a large percentage of people from Muslim families who are in fact non-believers.
However each person is reluctant to come out because they fear being attacked or even murdered so they stay in the closet.
However if all came out at the same time or within a short period, then our position will be stronger. Let's say 30% of people from Muslim backgrounds came out as non-believers this week, the "kill apostate" crowd cannot intimidate so many people.

So why not arrange a series of mass coming out events. Schedule a 3 day period to do it and spread the word. Then arrange another 3 day period later and repeat this over and over.

Because of a vast multitude of reasons. Fear, love, loyalty, family, threat, just flat out not wanting to, there's a shitload of reasons.

It's not that simple. And yeah if this were to become an obvious event, I'm sure it'll attract unnecessary attention and attract more people being killed/assassinated. lol.

I think you'd need to implement the solution you espoused in another thread, first remove the most radical clerics.
