The only reason the Saudi King does not like Zadari is because Zadari is pretty much an atheist, who comes form a Shia background. The Saudis don't want Pakistan getting close to Iran, it could spell doom for the Wahabhi dominated Kingdom.

He supports a doggedly secular outlook, moreover he has never been known to show any religious interests, I think he maybe a closet atheist or at minimum a non observant Muslim.

I like him anyway, he reminds me of me, in a fucked up way. I am somewhat inspired by him.

To be president of Pakistan you need to be muslim I think its written in the constitution, not sure. The PPP party is secular. I saw zardari and other high ranking officials pray Eid prayers on TV so in that sense he's religious but not an 'islamist' Its IMPOSSIBLE for Pakistan to get closer to Iran! A) the military has all the power not the govt. and B) the military and country as a whole rely on gulf petro-$ and cheap oil.
