I'm sure you have heard it before the more Islam is good arguement is a self sealing arguement.

The common objections to your video will be

1. No Islamic country practices Shariah completely so comparing Muslim dominated countries isn't the same as comparing Shariah to anything else. In fact, they should all be classified the same.

2. Human rights are a western invention forced onto other civilizations who do not hold the same cultural or ethical obligations as the West does ( alternatively that human rights was formed in response to a specific event, WWII, and therefore is a specific solution.

When asked about Islamist violence they say it is caused by the political vacuum of people wanting a Shariah state and not having it and therefor resorting to violence to achieve their desires and we should just let an Islamist state exist, or alternatively that the Islamists don't know true Islam and if we all become Muslims we can teach the truth of Islam and there will be no more violence.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

Another great video, mighty_cats.

Regarding Muslim objections, I don't buy them. The Muslims who will make those kind of objections will probably agree that the Taliban were the best Islamic country in terms of implementing Shariah law. Well.. the Taliban were in power for about 5 years and what was the level of happiness and well-being in their society during that period (1996 - 2001)? shit, if you ask me. Women had fuck-all rights and people could not speak their minds (against the Taliban). Plus, were Muslims from the West flocking to go and live there (in Afghanistan)? Nope. In fact, Muslims from Afghanistan were migrating to the West.

While this is true, they will say that the Taliban did make some mistakes but they were preventing evil and commanding good and overall poppy production went down and the war stopped.
