I've been pondering about this for a while.

I think that the biggest problem with faith is not that it can be established without evidence, but that it doesn't even give you the opportunity to look at and weigh the evidence in the first place. For example, in Islam, atleast in the Orthodox interpretation of it, you can't really be a Muslim if you accept that there is a slight chance (even if you do believe it to be 0.00001%) that you may be wrong. You must be certain. How then can you really investigate the claims that Islam makes without essentially apostasizing?

Ma and Da - islam teaches you to question, to seek knowledge, the inkof the pen mightier than the sword blah yada etc

me - Where did God come from? Who made him?

Ma and Da - We are not supposed to think like that. (because like you say kutta we would be apostasizing)

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D
