We are fitnah, that's just the way it is. We are just objects to satisfy men's needs and desires. You'll always come back to that, regardless of how hard you try with the cute and cozy talk about women's rights and marriage is half your deen and whatnot. And that's because that is what Islam, and any other patriarchal/Abrahamic religion, teaches at its very core. We were created from man, for man.

this scandal has caused a whole lot of old school islamic misogyny to come out... online they're saying "women are fitna"... "see how women brought down even this pious brother"... "this is why Allah said women are a trial for men". it always goes back to women being evil temptresses...

Well, that's what our Prophet taught us that we are. We are the greatest fitnah, filling hell to the max. When everything is fine and dady, you can use neo-Islamic rhetoric to make the hate ans misogyny sound nice or romantic. But when shit hits the fan, hate is still hate and that's what it'll make people do. Hate women.
