    Tensions Rise in Egypt Over Two Missing Christian Girls  says news..


    14-year-old Nancy Magdy Fathy, and her 16-year old cousin Christine Ezzat Fathy, who have disappeared and allegedly converted to Islam.

    CAIRO: Two girls who had left their Upper Egypt homes and said they converted to Islam are to take part in “reconciliation sessions” with their families, a lawyer said.

    The two Christian girls from the southern governorate of Minya went willingly to the Qasr El-Nil Prosecution office in Cairo last Friday after their disappearance stoked sectarian tension. They said they were not kidnapped but left home and converted to Islam.

    are we ever going to be done with this christian vs muslim shit in egypt ?

    every freaking day they come up with a claim that 2 muslim girls or 2 christian girls are missing

    I'd like to say I'm surprised at people being so credulous of stories reported from Coptic sources, but there's a handful of people here for whom I do not find it surprising.

    neither are muslim news

    I browse the coptic news websites all the time.. they are just rumor trolls

    So does this mean that unless you are an eye witness you shouldn't believe anything?
    In this case though,minor kids wanting to convert is stretching it a bit!

    Yes we should NOT speak or read about such news but Where did you find the news "That two Muslim girls are missing   and converted to Christianity "  Kod ??

    would you like to read Egyptian Government Laws on Religious conversion.? did  you know that Islam is the official state religion, and Shari'a (Islamic law) is the primary source of legislation. did you read anything about Egyptian_identificationcard

    Would you like to know what happens to Muslims who declare himself/herself  as apostate or converted Christian in Egypt??
