According to the Quran a woman needs four witnesses to prove a rape. It also says that a man's testimony counts as two women's. Does this mean that if a women is raped and there are seven female witnesses, this won't be enough to convict the rapist?

Bukhari 62:142 - Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet used to pass by (have sexual relation with) all his wives in one night, and at that time he had nine wives.

Yes - such a scenario happened in Sudan a while back - 7 female witnesses to a rape, and the victim was then executed.

It was mentioned (with a footnote to a source) in Irshad Manji's book.

iffo .... you can find morality out of islam too you know... you don't have to announce your apostasy to anyone.. i didn't ..

think about how much better your life would be without having to refer to the quran all the time.. when the quran mentions such harsh punishment for sinners.. and infinite burning for unbelievers..

did you know the science mentioned in the quran was in fact already known knowledge at the time islam was born...
