    clearly, there is an issue of punctuation here right, rather then racism? He has clearly missed out a comma, basically lill allen or whatever her name is abusing the system. She reported it to the MoD. What a stupid bitch.

    It should read: "... just seen you bought, shit I meant adopted...."

    So, wtf. I mean the guy is clearly trying to imply she's bought an African child, he wasn't calling the child a shit, or Africans shits.

    I hope this guy actually gets a good lawyer and sues her ass for defamation, if he can find a lawyer who will do it pro-bono.

    He wouldn't win.  Even if you're right about the missing comma, that mistake is his own fault not hers.  His poor grammar led to her misunderstanding the post as racial, so he can't accuse her of defamation.

    Impossible to deduct from the post alone that it is racist no matter what punctuation, it is stupid however and I don't like it. Racist it is not.

    What if he loses his job though, he is a army sniper... I think Lilly Allen knew it wasn't racist, she was properly just pissed off about the insult to her.

    Tough.  There's no way he could prove it wasn't a genuine misunderstanding so he doesn't have a case.

    i'd be upset... (even if it was a punctuation mistake).. from his end, the moment he typed the word "shit", that means he realized he had made a mistake, why not backspace and correct the post at that moment...
    1- it wasn't a punctuation mistake .... or....
    2- he meant to throw the word *bought* in her face..

    He was clearly trying to be a smart ass, and it kind of backfired. I think after he deleted his comment it should have been left at that, but Lilly Allen wanted to go on a personal vendetta against him. I think he should have apologized to her Lilly Allen, and she should have just dropped it and left it at that.
