The effects of the Islamic rules
OP - August 03, 2012, 07:25 PM
Trying to work out the cumulative effects of the main Islamic rules over centuries.
Would not forbidding pork prevent gaining knowledge of looking after domesticated animals, of alcohol the complex technologies related to wines, beers and spirits, of usury of preventing capitalism, of gambling of risk taking, of images - development of art?
Inequality of women cuts out the contributions of 50% of the population
Is that sufficient to explain the wealth difference of Islamic nations and the rest of the world?
