    He probably doesn't know much about Islam. Back in the 60s and 70s it was fashionable for African Americans to become Muslims. But I doubt many of them really knew that much about Islam.

    The Nation of Islam is a Black Power movement, which is called "Islam" but is no way orthodox, in fact I think it is totally different. I think they are all about black surpemecy and how white people are the devils.

    That is what Muhammad Ali was part of originally.
