Yes that is definately the case, the rest is sort of flogging a dead horse. You are giving this Ramio guy far more attention than he deserves and judging by his comments on your video, he seems to be relishing the limelight.
What is the point of criticizing his pronunciation of Arabic names? Why should he be knowledgable on the pronunciation of Arabic names? Is that a prerequisite to studying Islam?
If he is like me, and gets all his knowledge about Islam from reading books, and has not actually attended any lectures, then it is hardly surprising that he would not know how to pronounce the names of authors. I did not know how to pronounce Al-Tabari either.
The problem with getting sidetracked with irrelevant discussions on pronounciation is it distracts from the overall message of the video. You should just keep it short and to the point.
I think your expert knowledge would be put to better use on another project, forget about Ramio.
