    I just feel like Maajid Nawaz is fighting a lost cause.

    The amount of muslims like Maajid Nawaz are extremely small and the backlash they face from the mainstream muslim community is almost as much or the same as ex muslims face.

    The fact that the so called "moderate" muslim leaders refused to engage with Maajid shows that they don't have any interest in reforming the religion.

    In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

    It's bizarre to see. It's like he didn't even care about the blatant hypocrisy. Like he wasn't even aware he was being a hypocrite. Automatic, programmed hypocrisy.

    He was trying to say Nawaz isn't a 'real' Muslim because he doesn't pray so he gave him some of his own medicine to show how irrelevant that line of argument is. This is what the whole 'takfir' mentality looks like in plain sight.
