    1. By definition, my unicorn is the most perfect unicorn that can be conceived of.
    2. But if my unicorn did not exist in reality, we could imagine a unicorn that had all the other properties of my unicorn but that also existed in reality, and this unicorn would be greater than my unicorn.
    3. Since by definition my unicorn is the most perfect unicorn that can be conceived of, this is impossible.
    4. Therefore, my unicorn must exist in reality.

Good parody, although unless you discount language the concept of perfect still remains.

Remember, my objection was that perfect is meaningless divorced from any clarifying context. That applies to Anselm's argument and my parody of it.

The concept of perfect may very well still remain in the mind of my interlocutor, but until that clarification is made I, personally, have no idea what is meant by it or what it looks like. Perfect at what? I feel entitled to some kind of committal.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

I majored in philosophy and then went into the same dead-end kitchen jobs I did before and during college, but hey now I was a line cook with a philosophy degree! Tongue I really haven't been interested in it for years though.

You could have join a public service to earn a decent salary rather than picket against some corporations. Tongue
