I never thought I would leave Islam. I used to be pretty religious and devoted to Allah. I always used to pray and read the Qur'an. Then over a year ago I started to question my faith. I had this deep feeling that Islam could be false. So I started to ask my uncle about Islam and he almost made me restore my faith. However, what my parents and relatives don't know is that I'm gay. I couldn't reveal this info to them because they are very religious and I could've been disowned. After I've read some stories from ex-muslims and lots of videos explaining verses from the Qur'an, I realized that I wasted my time with this religion and religion in general. Shortly after I became an agnostic, still believing that there is some creator. It wasn't until a week after I began to think about life and science and notice that the concept of a god and the devil can't be real. I realized that faith offers no evidence, but science does! I would say now that I dislike a lot of religious people and think of them as delusional and brainwashed. Religion is something that poisons peoples' minds. It's disappointing many people still have their heads so stuck below them. So greetings everyone!  Smiley

    Welcome. Have a parrot parrot

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Apostates unite! I cannot emphasise enough how important it is for ex-muslims to step out of the shadows and demand their rights to live their lives as they see fit so long as they hurt no one or infringe on the rights of others. We're here, we're murtad, get fucking used to it.

But you're not murtad. It's presumptuous and possibly dangerous to to urge people into a fight in which you yourself are not engaged.

Support and friendship is the most you should offer.

Very true, which is why I didn't. I did however show support for ex-muslims to demand the right to live their lives unharmed and unthreatened, to not be in fear simply because they're ex-muslim. Which I stand by.

Reminds me of the old Lone Ranger joke.

How does that remind you of the Lone Ranger and not gay pride? Huh?

Are people really going to be that picky with the wording? Too early in the morning to be this literal. Just this once take it as it was intended CEMB members? Please?

Welcome. I have no animal-thing to give you.

Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends.
