    Thank you for bumping this, very interesting.

    "Buying slaves free is like paying the burglar to get your TV back".

    Says everything about Islam's so called claim to "abolish" slavery, while still legitimizing the system, and it's "noble" intent to "buy" slaves free as a "good deed".
