Tower Hamlets - One Law For All

Why don't One Law For All put up a candidate for the mayoral election in Tower Hamlets ?
Granted they're not likely to win but surely it's the perfect opportunity to put forward the alternative to both types of fascism , and it's bound to attract a lot of media coverage

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but why does Tower Hamlets have an elected mayor? Isn't it just a borough of London? I thought London just had one elected mayor, I didn't realise there were separate mayors for each borough.

afaik every london borough has a mayor. They are the leader of the local council.

I thought the councils elected their own leaders, I didn't realise there was an election for each one.

Traditionally most London boroughs have had a mayor for ceremonial purposes , it was the Respect mob that pushed for a new more powerful mayor a couple of years ago , as a way of entrenching their position
It looks like Labour are going with John Biggs , decent enough but I don't think he'll win
Tower Hamlets first will probably put up Rabina Khan or Oliur Rahman , both Lutfur cronies
Lutfur is appealing the court decision , don't know if that will delay the election
