I tend to think that Egypt was in the worst case scenario heading in the direction of Pakistan(goverment), an illiberal democracy with lots of parties that support Sharia, but in which secular parties atleast in theory had the ability to win elections. Moreover there has been other examples such as Indonesia, where an Islamic party came to power in the first elections and then lost the election after. After the AKP took control of the military, and after 13 year in power, some people predicted that they would successfully cheat and win this election, but they didn't.They've been predicting the same thing for years. Another thing is that Egypt had a supreme court that curtailed the Muslim Brotherhood goverment. Its not an easy taking control of the country with separation of powers and international monitoring. Last year some in Tunisia wanted to have a military coup removing the elected Islamist government, until they saw what happened in Egypt. Just recently, Tunisias Islamist lost the elections.

The best group/entity/political party with whom you can compare Muslim Brotherhood is Muslim Brotherhood.
AKP, Ennahda are moderate Islamic parties.

My opinion is that Sisi regime is better than what Muslim Brotherhood would have been.

you have every right to have that opinion.. But Nope.. unless his regime releases all political prisoners and resigns  and  and goes for election with him being not as head of the country  then only I will give some credit to that guy

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

It is not about giving credit to any of them. It's simply about who you think it is worse.
