I was shocked when I read this piece of news.
We all are suffering from the oppression and injustice of Saudi Arabic.
Saudi Arabia whose laws and rules treat humans as slaves and doesn't allow any democracy or free opinions.
Now it is chosen to head human rights panel as shown in the link above.

I wrote before about the hypocrisy of Muslims. Now I think we should refer to the hypocrisy of modern Western policy.

Interestingly, Yeez I, in high dudgeon, just quoted that article to my partner, she said "good, hopefully it'll make them self assess their own activities". Maybe you're both right and the UN know what they're doing.

I read up on it, and apparently they are just taking turns being the head. It is automatic, that different member countries serve on this council. So there is not really an appointment. Still ridiculous, though.
