    Did anyone listen to his speech?

    I found it very interesting how he singled out the Islamic world in his speech.

    It sounds like he isn't going to take any nonsense from that quarter.

    I was a bit surprised to be honest.

    I'm guessing Political Correctness will not be his thing.

    I watched the beginning. The prayer part was rather confusing, isn't the US supposed to be a secular country? If the Islamists tried to do the same thing in Turkey, there would be a gigantic scandal.

    Contrary to what most people expected, the problem with Obama won't be to be biased in favor of Muslims, but to be on the side of the zionists that control America.

    I was hoping he was neutral and just, but well, yet another disappointment.  Cry

    You decided all that 24 hours after he took office?  You don't half jump to conclusions! 

    He's appointed Senator Mitchell as Middle East peace envoy, which is good news.  Mitchell was indispensable to the negotiations for peace in Northern Ireland, hopefully he can pull off something similar over there.

    Well, I did not decided it now.  But choosing Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff is quite telling.  Also, the statement he made in Israel about Jerusalem having to be the undivided capital of Israel.  That is stupid.  Jerusalem should be a neutral city.

    Anyway, time will tell.  But I am not very optimistic.

    I would rather stick with rational debate too.  But I suppose only your point of view is rational, isn't it?  Sorry about the Jude Law thing, just to lighten things up a bit.

    The president can't just click his fingers and expect something to happen. It has to be valid, and it goes through a whole board. So if the blame game is going to be played, it should be to blame not just the president, but the congress, etc.

    He can't. If he wasn't a right-wing Democrat and really wanted, as many wish, to overhaul things, he's still very limited.
