    Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them;
    This is a stolen myth, another culture before Islam believed in the heavens and earth splitting up too (I cant remember who). It doesn't matter though as this verse makes no sense. The heavens and earth were never split up, they formed after they were split up.

    We have made of water everything living
    This was already written about by the Greeks.

    Yes you are right. I totally forgot about Aristotle. But would be nice to see some authentic evidence from Aristotle. Is there actually anything from him that lasted that long? and What were they written on? Clay? or Rock? I don't think paper was made then?

    Plenty.  He founded a school of philosophy, so we not only have whatever fragments of his original works, but also translations, transcripts, etc from his students and followers.

    Paper was invented in the 2nd century, its predecessor, papyrus, has been around since the Pharoahs.

    Plenty of the works of the Greeks has survived, you can thank Alexander the Great and muslims for helping preserve their teachings Wink

    Getting one thing right by luck or chance, and everything else wrong is not good enough.
