    Hi all

I was recently thinking to immigrate from Palestine to another country, so here is couple of questions:

any suggestions for where you think is the best country to go for for an ex-muslim?
do you know of a way to get an infidel like me out of the hot pot called ME?

    thanks all

I am sure it would be very difficult for someone from Palestine to emigrate to Western Europe or the Americas. Do you have a skill? That might make it easier. Or maybe you could try and claim refugee status for being an apostate?

^^^ try to claim refugee status as an apostate, all they can do is say no, but maybe, just maybe they will say yes.  It's worth a try isn't it?

well i'm a computer science BA, going for masters degree....i work for a good computer company right here

as i read on the internet asylum can only be applied to when you are actually there, and you'll need a visa to get there

do you recommend asylum or working visa as i saw a lot of the people on the internet having much debate over this

which is better way for getting their? i mean if they don't agree i'll be transfered back here with no option to reapply for Canada

How about try moving first to some place like Abu Dhabi or Qatar first for work and then hop to Europe/Americas/Australia ?

Work Visa is a better idea than asylum.

I thought to claim asylum you need to prove your life is under threat..

    no problem...

i'll just take a road trip to the nearest city and laugh in the face of some soldier....this should give me all the physical evidence i need in black and blue, only thing i got to guarantee the soldier is in a good mood or i'll be news

guys really thank you all for the info...seems that its very complicated and needs hill more time than i thought

I read your story when you joined and for some reason i couldnt stop grinning at the thought of an Atheist in Palestine.

I have relatives who work with refugees here in Australia and will give them a call tomorrow and get some email contacts for you.

I'd recommend Canada too, I just wish it we're easier to make it happen. I'm already having trouble getting my boyfriend here and he's only in California.

funny thing we were offered the Canadian residence cards me and all my family back when i was like 12,
it was residence documents, a housing arrangement, and pocket money for the house and the kids...NSA

it was because my father has a good business and Canada was somehow recruiting...my father declined  mysmilie_977

My cousins are on holidays so this will have to do for now.

Google "refugee council of Australia" and check out their website.

You might also want to check out the UNHCR website.

We have fairly strict requirements for refugees you should meet the danger part of it with apostasy.

I think someone here at the CEMB should prepare some paperwork with all the verses regarding apostates if it hasnt already been done to help with evidence of the danger.
