Debate - Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett vs Dinesh D'Souza, Shmuley Boteach, Nassim Taleb. Neutral: Robert Wright. Andrés Roemer hosts La Ciudad de las Ideas 2009 Re-evolution (English Version)

I am interested in reading your comments Smiley

For me, there are a number of things I have to say:
    1. The 'neutral' side of this debate....yuck... Personally, I think it was a waste of time. I don't think they needed a neutral side at all....and such a pussy side at that!
    2. All 3 debaters from the religion side were pretty crappy. But if I were to rank them, I would probably have to say that Taleb is the worst debater, followed by D'Souza, and the Rabbi being the least (but still crappy).
    4. The Swiss guy who said that "whenever you bring up Hitler in a conversation, you lose", I couldn't agree more. I've seen a lot of debates like these, and it's always the religious who are the first to bring it up (like the Rabbi). It's annoying and makes you look like a fool.
    5. The best debater here -in my opinion- would have to be Dennett. He just tells it like it is, is very direct and clear, and with the perfect amount of attitude.

    I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky, but why, why, why
Can't it be, can't it be mine
